Always worth a visit: the adventure dairy in Mayrhofen. Under the motto “See - Smell - Enjoy” you can follow the process from raw milk to cheese and other subtleties. There is also a show dairy with a museum in Fügen. At the end of both dairies, the highlight is on: the tasting of the delicate dairy products!

Personal tours and tastings are of course part of the program. Spectacular creations such as the “Zillertal mountain hay brand” and the classics “Meisterwurz” and “Zirbenschnaps” have already won numerous awards.
The Zillertal is known for its sumptuous specialties: first and foremost the “Zillertaler Krapfen”. But also the “Zerggl”, “Groiggn”, “Schliachter Nudeln”, “Melkermus”, “Zeltn”, “Ofenleber” or the “Graukas” produced only in the Zillertal are well-known delicacies.
