The more than 1000 km of marked hiking trails offer the right path for every level of difficulty - themed hikes, alpine hikes and via ferrata are waiting for you in the Zillertal mountains - the source of strength in the Tyrolean Alps.
There is water not only in the crystal clear Zillertal streams but also in the various swimming waters of the valley. Here you will find the perfect cooling off on hot days.
For all golfers there has been the Zillertal golf course in Uderns since 2014, which will open as an 18-hole course from July 1st. By then, 9 holes can be played. Head Pro Simon Knabl's golf lessons at the highest level and for every skill level.
Numerous festivals invite you to experience Zillertal hospitality in the summer: the Ursprungbuam, the Zillertaler Haderlumpen, the Zillertaler Mander, the Schürzenjäger or the Junge Zillertaler organize festivals in their homeland. There are also many summer night festivals, a district music festival in Aschau and a shooting meeting in Zell am Ziller - there is a lot to experience.
